Compact Heterodyne Phase Camera​​​ (Jan 2024 - Present)

The phase of an electric field contains within it valuable information about objects the field has come into contact with. Previous work within the Physics department has resulted in an instrument to extract this information, the Heterodyne Phase Camera (HPC). My work will focus on compactifying the present device for potential commercialization. This will involve the design of the optical path within the cHPC, as well as the design of certain electronics for use in analog control systems.
